Dr. Lewis earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. Dr. Lewis is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS), and he is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Fundamentals of Critical Care Support and Advanced Burn Life Support.
