Support Groups

Breast Health Support Group

This group, led by Tanner Breast Health, is for women who have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer or who have been treated for it in the past. Breast Health Support Group meetings are held the last Tuesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. at the Cheryl Cook Gill Resource Center located inside Tanner Breast Health in Carrollton. Creative Minds Adult Autism Group

Creative Minds Adult Autism Group provides support and activities that foster social interaction with peers. Arts and crafts, games, movies and other interactive activities will be provided. The group is for those 18 and older. Family members are asked to stay to ensure success for everyone. Please see our calendar for upcoming dates.

Diabetes Support Group

Tanner’s Diabetes Support Group meets on the first Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at Get Healthy, Live Well, 148 Clinic Avenue in Carrollton. Topics vary each month.

Grief Support Group

Tanner Hospice Care’s Grief Support Group meets once a week for 10 weeks, with sessions offered during the day and in the evening. The group provides a safe, supportive space to share experiences, connect with others and learn healthy coping strategies.

Neurology Support Group

The Neurology Support Group provides a nurturing environment for neurology patients and their caregivers. We understand the unique challenges you face, and our goal is to offer both educational resources and support to help you manage these effectively. At each quarterly session, you’ll find a compassionate and knowledgeable session leader and attendees ready to share experiences, exchange valuable information,and lend their support.
