About Tanner Health

Your care, redefined.

Tanner Health 75th logoFor more than 75 years, Tanner has been redefining health care in west Georgia.

It began with a small, rural hospital in Carrollton, built by a community who appreciated the importance of having quality care nearby for themselves, their loved ones and their neighbors.

That hospital grew, changing with the times. Villa Rica’s hospital joined the fold, then Bremen’s. More doctors came, with more specialized expertise and techniques.

Health care evolved. It was redefined.

Tanner’s story is extraordinary. From Tanner Memorial Hospital to Tanner Health, the name has changed with the times.

Now, we’re marking three quarters of a century by celebrating our emerging role as a destination for care, for compassion and for health.

We’re Tanner Health. And we’re redefining what health care can be.

75 Years of Redefining Care

Tanner has been redefining care in west Georgia and east Alabama for more than seven decades.

Our patients depend on us, and for generations, we have grown and evolved to meet their needs.

As we reflect on the past 75 years, join us to look back and hear from individuals crucial to our success — past, present and future.

A Legacy of Remarkable Care

The Mobius strip is a simple piece of paper, twisted once and joined at the ends. This loop is unending. Like health care should be.

Our patients depend on us, and for generations, we have grown and evolved to meet their needs. This is reflected in our updated Mobius: a symbol of continuous, constant care. Past. Present. Future.

New logo, name and tagline. Same commitment to service, innovation and high-quality health care.

We are Tanner Health. We’re not just delivering care — we’re redefining it.
