Access to rheumatology care is growing in Villa Rica as Monica Crawford, MD, joins Tanner Rheumatology Specialists at its new location in the Mirror Lake Medical Office Building.

Dr. Crawford is board-certified in rheumatology and earned her medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Crawford completed a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, and she completed her residency in internal medicine at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and served at chief medical resident at Grady Memorial Hospital. Dr. Crawford is also a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.

At Tanner Rheumatology Specialists, Dr. Crawford joins Angela Pham, MD, and David Waldburg, MD, to provide specialized care for a range of rheumatic conditions, including common inflammatory conditions, immune disorders, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. To better serve patients in Villa Rica, the practice has opened a new location at the Mirror Lake Medical Office Building at 101 Quartz Drive, Suite 201-B.
