Tanner Medical Group has again been named one of the largest physician group practices in metro Atlanta.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle, one of Atlanta’s foremost media outlets covering industry news, has named Tanner Medical Group on its annual list of “Atlanta’s 25 Largest Physician Group Practices” for 2021.

Tanner Medical Group has made this list consecutively over the past three years, as well as Atlanta Business Chronicle’s list of “Atlanta’s Top 25 Physician Groups” multiple times in recent years.

The achievement highlights Tanner Health System’s commitment to growing its services in parts of the region that likely would not have access otherwise.

Since 2019, Tanner Medical Group has added more than 30 new physicians and 41 advanced practice providers across its 30 comprehensive specialty services, spanning from cardiology to vascular surgery, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, radiation oncology, behavioral health and more.

As one of the region’s largest multi-specialty medical groups, Tanner Medical Group serves communities throughout Carroll, Douglas, Haralson, Heard and Paulding counties in Georgia and Randolph County in Alabama.
