Our experienced infectious diseases specialists provide office consultations, routine vaccines and care for patients with fever of unknown origin, bacterial, fungal or viral infections, and traveler’s diseases.

Specializing in the care and treatment of infections and diseases

While many infections are addressed by primary care providers, such as an internist or family physician, other infections need more specialized attention. We offer focused attention from providers who are experts in this field of medicine.

We follow your care for the duration of your infection, helping you understand how to avoid future complications.

Once treatment is completed, we refer you back to your primary care physician. If you do not have a primary care physician, we will help you through Tanner’s physician referral service.

Infectious Diseases of West Georgia uses the Patient-centered Specialty Practice model, a team-based, physician-led approach to providing health care. And as part of Tanner Medical Group, we have access to all the resources of Tanner Health System.
