Higgins General Hospital has once again been awarded Press Ganey’s Human Experience (HX) Pinnacle of Excellence Award for delivering an outstanding patient experience in 2023.
This recognizes Higgins as a leader in patient care, consistently ranking in the top 5% of surveyed healthcare facilities for at least three years running.

Out of over 41,000 healthcare facilities partnering with Press Ganey, Higgins distinctly stands out.
Fewer than 120 hospitals nationwide have received this year’s HX Pinnacle of Excellence Award, positioning Higgins among the elite for patient experience.

Higgins General Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital, serves as a beacon of high-quality health care across Haralson County. It boasts the designation as the only primary stroke-care center among critical-access hospitals in Georgia, signifying a steadfast commitment to the health and wellbeing of its patients.
Recent expansions have also introduced new surgical services and enhanced diagnostic imaging capabilities, ensuring state-of-the-art care is accessible to all.
