J.D. Engelbrecht, MD, a family medicine physician, is joining Denis Morin, MD, and the patient care team at Buchanan Medical Clinic, a Tanner Medical Group practice. 
Dr. Engelbrecht earned his medical degree from the University of Pretoria School of Medicine in Pretoria, South Africa. He completed his internship at the Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa, and his residency at the University of Alabama Family Medicine Residence program in Tuscaloosa, Ala. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Engelbrecht also holds a master’s in business administration with a concentration in healthcare administration from American Intercontinental University in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
