Tanner and West Georgia Urology Offer Free Prostate Cancer Screenings in November

This November, Tanner Health System and West Georgia Urology are partnering again to offer free prostate screenings for men 45 and older.
The free screenings will be held on Nov. 1 at the Tanner Heart & Vascular Specialists offices in Carrollton and Villa Rica and Nov. 3 at the Tanner Heart & Vascular Specialists office in Wedowee from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer found in men in the U.S., where nearly one in eight men will be diagnosed in their lifetime.
However, prostate cancer is often very treatable when detected early through a prostate exam.
