Tanner Health Honored by Boy Scouts of America

District leaders and members of The Indian Springs District of the Boy Scouts of America awarded Tanner Health the Shining Light Award for its continued support of the youth leadership program.
The Shining Light Award is given to organizations that have supported Scouting to ensure the program continues to deliver the best youth leadership program.
The award was presented by troop members and leaders of The Indian Springs District, serving Carroll, Haralson and Douglas counties.
Jamie Pace, the Indian Springs District Chair for Boy Scouts of America — the top volunteer position for the District — Jonathan Lewis, the district executive serving Indian Springs; and Paul Odom, the field director and regional manager, presented the award.

Barry Griffin, an IT support technician at Tanner, is also a Scoutmaster for a local Carrollton troop and recently received the Russell Turner Lifetime Service Award for over 40 years of service in scouting.
