Two long-established Villa Rica medical practices are combining operations, providing a single destination for comprehensive primary care services.
Villa Rica Family Medicine and West Georgia Family Medicine are joining their practices. Villa Rica Family Medicine is the practice of Urooj Ather, MD, Kenneth Boss, MD, and Evangelio Gonzalez, MD.
On Monday, Oct. 2, the practice will relocate across the Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica campus to the West Georgia Family Medicine practice of Larry Price, MD, Virginia Price, MD, Mary Alexander-Adams, PA-C, and Amber Allen, NP-C.
The combined practice will be called Villa Rica Family Medicine, located in the recently renovated medical office suite on the first floor of the VillaMed medical office building at 705 Dallas Highway, Suite 101.
Both practices are part of Tanner Medical Group, one of metro Atlanta’s largest multi-specialty physician groups. The group has about 30 practices throughout Carroll, Douglas, Paulding, Haralson and Heard counties in Georgia and in Randolph County, Ala. The combined Villa Rica Family Medicine practice will offer wellness care, including complete physical exams, diabetic eye exams, total care management, women’s wellness exams and sports physicals, as well as minor skin surgery, electrocardiograms (EKGs), sick visits, immunization services and more.
