Telehealth Visits

Our Tanner Medical Group providers are helping you stay well — even as you stay home.

Our new telehealth service allows you to schedule regular office visit appointments with Tanner Medical Group providers.

Need a COVID-19 test? Our providers also can review your symptoms, determine if you should be tested for COVID-19 and enter the order for you to receive a test.

What to expect from your telehealth visit

When you call, you’ll be scheduled with an appointment and provided with a link. When you click the link:

  1. Make sure you’re using a device with a camera, speakers and microphone, such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop computer.
  2. At your appointed time, click the link and you will be brought to a provider’s “virtual waiting room.
  3. When the provider is ready, they’ll “invite” you into a live chat session. The provider will get some background information from you, discuss your concerns and assess your need for a test.

If your appointment is about a COVID-19 test, the physician will determine if COVID-19 testing is necessary, enter an order and provide you with instructions on how to get your test. We’ll notify you when the test results are available. A provider’s order is necessary to receive a test.

Telehealth visits will be billed as a normal doctor’s visit.
