Georgia Trend Ranks Two Tanner Hospitals Among Top in Georgia

Statewide business, industry and politics journal Georgia Trend has listed two of Tanner Health System’s hospitals among the top medium-sized hospitals in Georgia.
In the listing published in the December issue, Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton placed at No. 6 among medium-sized Georgia hospitals, and Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica placed 12th.
Georgia Trend considers hospitals with 100 to 249 beds “medium size.” The publication also had categories for large hospitals, small hospitals and teaching hospitals.
Rankings were based on publicly reported data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Hospital Value-Based Purchasing program, which helps healthcare consumers determine which facilities provide the highest quality care and best patient experience.
