Prashant Sharma, MD, has joined West Georgia Gastroenterology Associates.
Dr. Sharma is board-certified in internal medicine and board-eligible for gastroenterology. He earned his medical degree at M.S. University Medical College in Vadodara, India. Dr. Sharma completed his residency in internal medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and earned a master’s in public health management at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and the Medical Society of the State of New York.
Dr. Sharma is a professional expert in upper GI motility disorders and GERD, including high-resolution manometry and Bravo ph monitoring. He also provides capsule endoscopy and hepatology expertise. With West Georgia Gastroenterology Associates, Dr. Sharma will provide expanded clinical care for patients in need of specialized gastroenterology services.
