Shannon Couvreur, DO, Joining West Georgia Healthcare for Women

Shannon Couvreur, DO, a board-certified obstetrics and gynecology specialist, is joining the patient care team at West Georgia Healthcare for Women, a Tanner Medical Group practice.
West Georgia Healthcare for Women is the practice of obstetrics and gynecology specialists Amy Dodson, DO; David Helton, MD; and Tiffany Stanfill Thomas, MD.
Dr. Couvreur will continue to serve patients at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, including providing services in the hospital’s surgical services center and the W. Steve Worthy Maternity Center.
She earned her medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Mich., and completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology with Mercy Health Partners in Muskegon, Mich. She is a member of Tanner Health System’s medical staff, providing obstetrics and gynecology services continuously in the Carrollton area since 2011.
