Tanner, Amerigroup Agree to Terms; Health System to Remain In-network

Tanner Health System and Amerigroup have agreed to terms that will keep the health system in-network for the health plan’s Georgia members.
After previous negotiations faltered, Tanner notified Amerigroup that it would leave the network effective Nov. 1. Tanner leadership continued negotiations with Amerigroup, however, and both sides have agreed to new terms. The agreement keeps Tanner Health System in-network for members of Amerigroup's Georgia Families Medicaid, Georgia Families PeachCare for Kids, Planning for Healthy Babies and Georgia Families 360 health plans.
With this agreement, those patients may continue to use the Tanner providers and services of their choice, and may plan to proceed with all procedures and tests previously scheduled at Tanner’s facilities.
