Monday, February 12, 2018
Do you experience bladder leakage when you laugh, cough or sneeze? Do you experience pain or discomfort when going to the restroom?
Urologic problems — such as losing urine involuntarily, having difficulty emptying your bladder, waking from sleep to urinate frequently during the night, frequent urinary tract infections, pain in your pelvis or bladder and more — can have a gradual but significant impact on a woman’s quality of life.
Fortunately, evaluation and treatment for leakage, bladder issues and other urologic problems is closer than you think.
James Cullison, MD, will lead a special information session on Wednesday, March 14, from noon to 1 p.m. The session will be held at Wedowee Marine South in Lineville, at 9681 Highway 48. A complimentary lunch will be provided. Seating is limited.
This educational event, a part of Tanner Health System’s Advancing Your Health education series, will give participants the opportunity to learn about the latest treatments available from a certified specialist in urological health.
Dr. Cullison’s Advancing Your Health education session, “Control When You Go,” will cover the diagnosis and treatment of issues related to urinary and bowel incontinence. He is a board-certified urologist with West Georgia Urology and a member of the medical staff at Tanner Health System. He has earned a subspecialty in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, enabling him to provide special insight into the diagnosis and effective treatment of urinary and bowel problems.
The discussion is free to attend. Registration is required. To register, visit www.tanner.org/control or call 1.888.799.6309.
