I'm going to show you three ways to cure your sweet tooth, manage your blood sugar and cure your sweet tooth.

Sugar-free alternatives

There are so many sugar-free options.

Nowadays, every dessert can be made sugar-free. For times when you're in a rush, try some of our favorite ready-made options:

  • Sugar-free chocolate pudding
  • Fat Snax Sugar-free Cookies
  • Diabetic Kitchen Cupcake Mix (our personal favorite is chocolate)

Sugar alternatives in recipes

If sugar-free isn't doable, try opting for a sugar alternative in your recipes.

Here is a list of natural sweeteners that won't impact your blood sugar:

  • Stevia
  • Monk fruit
  • Erythritol

These alternatives will give you the taste you're looking for without the consequences. They are available at virtually any grocery store.

Portion control

A good way to manage your blood sugar levels is to try some good, old-fashioned portion control. Balanced with a healthy diet, consuming smaller portions of carbs and sweets can be a good way to manage your blood sugar.

Here are some ideas to help you nail portion control:

  • Share your sweet treat with a friend
  • Try to be mindful when eating
