Tanner EAP for Employees

Everyone encounters challenges—at work, at home, and in life.
Stress, confusion, and frustration can leave us feeling overwhelmed. Often, we prioritize others—our families, friends, clients and coworkers—while neglecting our own well-being.
Tanner EAP is here to help.
Whether you're facing personal struggles or workplace issues, Tanner Health’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers confidential counseling services. These services are employer-provided, meaning no cost to you. Our licensed, compassionate therapists provide expert support to help you navigate difficulties, restore balance, and improve both happiness and productivity.

Privacy for EAP clients

The concerns you discuss with our team will remain private. No information will be shared without written profession.

How EAP works for employees

Getting Started: Whether you contact us by phone or electronically (such as email or through an online form), your message will be received by a caring Tanner EAP staff member.

By phone: A staff member will listen to your concerns and connect you with a licensed counselor for immediate support or to schedule an appointment.

Electronically: We’ll review your message promptly and respond with next steps — either offering immediate guidance or helping you schedule a convenient time to meet with a counselor.

Your First Appointment
During your initial visit, you'll complete brief paperwork to provide background information and review our privacy policy. Then, you'll meet with a counselor for an intake session focused on identifying the issues and exploring potential solutions.
Ongoing Support
Follow-up appointments (typically up to an hour) help guide you toward resolution. If needed, your counselor may refer you to additional resources—such as mental health professionals, financial advisors, legal experts, or medical specialists—to ensure you receive the most effective support.

Cost and eligibility

You are not charged for telephone contacts or visits to EAP. The service is provided by your employer through their contract with Tanner Health. Our services are also available to your dependent family members within your home. In most cases, your health benefits will pay a portion of any referral costs.

Appointments

Appointments are available by calling 770-834-8327. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., but additional after hours appointments are available.
