Howard became president and CEO of Tanner Health System in 1994. He previously served as the CEO and CFO of the Union Hospital District in South Carolina.

A recognized community leader, Howard has served as chairman of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and has received numerous awards, including Georgia Hospital Association’s Chairman Award in 2014, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce's Citizen of the Year award in 2008, the chamber's Horizon Award in 2002 and the Visionary Award from the Follow Me Foundation in 2000.

Bill Hines

Hines manages Tanner Health System’s 163 multispecialty providers across 46 locations in west Georgia and east Alabama. He is also responsible for a wide range of support services, including human resources, construction, property management, physician recruiting, home health, hospice, materials management, managed care contracting and the 250-member physician-hospital organization (PHO) for the five-hospital system.

Before joining Tanner, Hines co-founded Cypress Healthcare Partners in 1996. He has also held senior leadership positions with Helian Health Group Inc. and American Medical International's wholly owned subsidiary, Ambulatory Centers Inc. Hines earned his master's in business administration from Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management.

As the chief medical officer at Tanner Health System, Dr. Camp oversees medical staff services and credentialing of medical staff, as well as case management, clinical documentation, risk management, clinical integration, and data and analytics services. He also serves as Tanner’s lead physician accountability officer.

Board-certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Camp earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine, completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Dartmouth Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. and completed a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Colorado/Denver General Hospital.

Carol Crews

For more than 25 years, Crews has served the community through her many positions at Tanner Health System. As CFO of Tanner, she oversees all business-related activity for the system, including budgets, audits and governmental filings. Her responsibilities also include accounting, payroll, patient financial services, patient registration and scheduling, health information management and revenue integrity.

Crews earned her bachelor's in business administration and accounting from the University of West Georgia and later became a certified public accountant. She is a member of the west Georgia chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Georgia Hospital Association.

Susan Fox

A Tanner Health System team member since 1996, Fox was promoted to senior vice president in 2014. In this role, she oversees Tanner Medical Group, Tanner Home Health, Tanner Hospice Care, Tanner Urgent Care and Tanner Advanced Wound Center. Fox is a certified procedural coder and an NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home content expert.

Her past leadership roles at Tanner include program director for Tanner Occupational Health, vice president of operations for Tanner Medical Group, developer of Tanner's NCQA Level 3-recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home initiative for the coordination of primary care services and development leader of Tanner Urgent Care.

Deborah Matthews

Promoted to senior vice president and chief nursing officer for Tanner Health System in 2014, Matthews focuses on professional nursing that positively impacts patient care. She is dedicated to utilizing caring staff, collaboration and best practices to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and employee satisfaction.

In 1985, Matthews joined Tanner Health System as a charge nurse. She was named director of nursing at Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica in 1996. Beginning in 2007, she served as administrator of Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica and then as administrator of Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton. Before being named senior vice president, she also became part of the charter dyad as lead administrative accountability officer in 2012.

Paul Perrotti

Perrotti joined Tanner Health System in 2019 as senior vice president and chief operating and strategy officer. As COO, Perrotti sets the standards for operational excellence, ensuring that our hospitals and facilities perform efficiently and safely while delivering the best possible patient care. He also works closely with leadership to enhance and develop clinical programs, as well as related overall system strategies.

Prior to joining Tanner, Perrotti served as senior vice president and regional chief financial officer at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center and CFO of Charter Behavioral Health Systems. Before his 10 years of service in public accounting, he earned a bachelor’s in business administration from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.

Greg Schulenburg

After serving as executive vice president and COO of Greenway Health, Schulenburg joined Tanner in 2017 as CIO. He currently leads Tanner’s IT department and helps maintain state-of-the art information technology services for the entire system.

Having earned a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Georgia, Schulenberg previously managed projects for Prudential Bank, National Support and NationsBank. In addition to his responsibilities at Tanner, he is as a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of Carroll County and an active member of Habitat for Humanity.

Wayne Senfeld

Wayne Senfeld, Ed.S., LPC
SSenior Vice President, Business Development and Behavioral Health
Tanner Health System

Promoted to senior vice president of behavioral health and business development in 2012, Senfeld is responsible for Willowbrooke at Tanner’s inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services. He received a 2012 GHA Healthcare Heroes Award for his rigorous advocacy of patient care in the area of mental health, along with his outstanding progress in behavioral health program growth in the west Georgia area.

Senfeld joined the Tanner team in 1998 as a program manager and served in various positions before becoming the administrator of Willowbrooke at Tanner in 2008. Senfeld has since earned GHA’s Community Leadership Award and was elected to the Georgia Hospital Association’s Board of Trustees. He currently serves as the GHA’s board chair for the Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Division committee.

Denise Taylor

After joining Tanner Health System in 1989, Taylor established Tanner Foundation and served as its president and CEO. Now, she is the chief community health and brand officer.

Her responsibilities include championing the health system’s community benefit and preventive health efforts, including the award-winning Get Healthy, Live Well initiative.

Previously, Taylor served as the director of financial development for the YWCA of Greater Atlanta, director of development for West Penn Hospital and director of annual giving at St. John Medical Center Foundation in Tulsa. She is a member of the Association for Community Health Improvement, Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development. She is also a founding board member of the Community Children’s Home.
